Open as App appoints Michael Stoelwinder as new CEO

Open as App, a SaaS platform for no-code app creation, announced the appointment of Michael Stoelwinder as CEO with the effect of April 1^st, 2021. Michael’s priority will be to drive and expand Open as App’s self-sign-up business and product-led growth strategy. He succeeds Markus Pöhlmann who moves on to be a member of the Open as App board.

Michael Stoelwinder brings a wealth of experience in product-led growth strategy and operations in prime internet marketplaces and digital businesses, joining from the Scout24 group. He had leading roles at ImmoScout24 and AutoScout24 serving as Vice President Consumer and Chief Product Officer. Prior to these appointments, he already had been responsible for managing and growing user retention, pricing, CAC, and customer experience at several online platforms and marketplaces in Australia and Europe.

The German Start-up Open as App closed a 5.2 million Series A fundraising in 2019 with VCs Ventech, Senovo, main incubator, and others. The platform enables the direct transfer of existing business data and logic into mobile and web embedded apps, for powerful offer calculators, time tracking tools, product configurators, and many more.
