What is a user?
A user is a natural person who has registered on the Open as App website with their first name, surname and email address and who uses a public or private app that they have created or shared themselves. This applies in particular to the use of private apps. For public apps, however, anonymous use (anonymous user) is also possible.
What is a private app?
Private apps are only available by invitation. Access can be restricted. Invited users must therefore register or log in to Open as App. The number of possible users of Private Apps depends on the plan ordered and any additional user licenses.
What is a public app?
Public Apps can be freely distributed via a link or integrated into a website. User registration is not necessary for public apps. With a public app, no users may be excluded from accessing the app and the associated data, e.g. through upstream authorization, in-app login or authorizations on the underlying data sources.
What is a flat rate for apps?
What happens if I use functions outside my plan or exceed the limits?
Open as App can check at any time whether the Software Services are being used in accordance with the contractual agreements. If it is determined that additional functions have been used, the corresponding license fee must be paid retroactively from the start of the extended use. For future use, the plan can be adjusted accordingly if the additional functions are still required.
Does Open as App also offer help with the creation of apps?
Our mission is to give you the opportunity to easily create the apps you want yourself. But we know that sometimes there is a lack of time or a first project can be so complex that it is difficult to get started. If you need support, let us know your requirements and ideas – together we will find the best solution for implementation!
